Club Team (Two Weeks to Eight Weeks)

Sailors must sign up for at least two weeks of sailing (which may be consecutive or non-consecutive).  Sailors signing up for more than two weeks of Club Team will get a cumulative discount for each additional week.  Any sailors who successfully complete Beginner Optimist in 2024 may sign up for additional "add-on" weeks of Club Team in 2024 at the fully discounted price ($490 J-TAYC/$368 Member per week). 

Club team sailors are required to bring their own Optimist or can Rent for $200.00/Wk.

Discounts and Other Notes

"Bring a Friend":  If sailors refer a new sailor to TAYC, that sailor gets a $100 discount for each referral (i.e., each new sailor).  The discount applies to sailors who are new to TAYC (i.e., have not registered for a TAYC course previously) and not a sibling of the current sailor.

Family Discount:  Families with more than one sibling signed up get a 10% discount on their total tuition.     

"Early Bird":  All tuition prices increase by 1% on March 1st, 2% on April 1st and 5% on May 1st and 15% on June 1st (Note:  The price increases do not apply to Beginner Optimist sailors who add-on additional weeks of Club Team or another session of Beginner Optimist after the start of the program).

Active-Duty Military:  40% discount for children of active-duty members of the military.

J-TAYC Membership is required for all sailors who are not already members of TAYC.  The J-TAYC membership is $50.00/Child.  J-TAYC members get a house account for billing of Jr. Sailing program fees as well as food and drink during camp and Jr. Sailing events like Wednesday night races and the Awards Banquet.(This requirement does not apply to grandchildren of TAYC members because all fees are charged to the member’s account.)
